As big as they are
they wonder the forest floor in search of scraps,
Debris of any kind.
Lumbering around on their own by day
But as an army by night.
Living in colonies deep in the forest,
they are the king of all ants,
in size only,
As the mighty fire ant wins the contest, hands down,
As he is fierce and ordered,
And takes no prisoners.
But the mighty wood ant is gentle and calm,
and he rules,
When it comes to size.
