This Sunday is Mother’s Day in the UK and OuTrop is celebrating with a selection of our best mother and infant photos.

The bond between a mother and her infant is strong in all species. Through our camera trapping work we have been allowed a privileged insight into the relationships between mothers and their infants as well as the playful behaviour of the infants themselves.

Every sighting of a new infant is proof that the species is breeding and hopefully thriving. We hope you enjoy this glimpse into the lives of these mothers and their young. The full set of images is available here.

P.S. Can you spot the flat-headed cat kitten?
