Rainforest: Live is an initiative of the Borneo Nature Foundation, a conservation and research organisation based in Kalimantan, Indonesian Borneo. Rainforest: Live was born in 2014 and is now going into its fifth year. This year, we want it to be bigger and better than ever before!
Since Rainforest: Live started more than 20 conservation organisations have joined from Asia, Africa and South America, taking it around the world. In 2017, the hashtag #RainforestLive reached over 2.5 million people.
This year we are inviting more than 50 organisations to take part for what we hope will be the best Rainforest: Live ever! Our participants list will grow in the run up to June 22 and you will be kept up to date with the organisations that have signed up for this exciting event.
Borneo Nature Foundation is a non-profit conservation organisation. We work to protect some of the most important areas of tropical rainforest and to safeguard the wildlife, environment and indigenous culture on Borneo.
