Last month at the Palangka Raya Christian University hall, a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signing ceremony was held between the Borneo Nature Foundation and Palangka Raya Christian University (UNKRIP) to mark the start of a new partnership.

The MoU was signed by Bernat Ripoll Capilla (BNF Field Director) and Dr.Siun Jarias, SH.MH (Rector of UNKRIP).

This MOU records the commitment of each party to work together to further research, conservation, education, capacity building and outreach efforts in Central Kalimantan including, but not limited to, the UNKRIP KHDTK (a designated forest area with special purpose) in Kabupaten Kapuas and BNF’s Barito Ulu Programme, in particular the Rekut Research Area.

New collaboration between BNF and Palangka Raya Christian University
