Our work would be impossible without you! Here we share ideas and inspiration for events and sponsored challenges to help you raise much needed awareness and critical funds to help protect Borneo’s incredible rainforests and wildlife.
Whether you organise a fundraising event or commit yourself to a new challenge, your time, effort and support is vital in helping us to protect and restore the last remaining rainforests of Borneo, home of the Critically Endangered orangutan and other iconic wildlife.
We can’t do this work alone. So why not join us, have some fun and raise money for Borneo’s threatened rainforests. All you need is passion and enthusiasm to make a real difference to this world and you can start today!
The BNF team are extremely grateful for the support we receive from our incredible fundraisers. We want to get to know you and support you through your fundraising journey. In 2017, Katie Piercey turned 30 and decided to celebrate by running the 3-Laender marathon in aid of BNF! The 3-Laender marathon took Katie on a journey across three countries, starting on the shores of Lake Constance in Germany, and meandering over the borders of Austria and Switzerland.
Pushing herself through 26 miles of European countryside (including those brutal rolling hills!), Katie did BNF proud, completing the marathon in 4 hours and raising over £1,400! Katie is one of BNF’s top supporters and has also organised a charity picnic and sells linocut prints to support us.
We are extremely grateful for people like Katie, without whom our work would not be possible.
